To play the virtual organ of Krewerd 1531 you need:
1st:
A rather up to date PC or notebook. It is difficult to say which hardware you need. Martin Dyde
(the creator of Hauptwerk) gives much information about this at
Prerequisites.
Please note: This information is written for the newest version of Hauptwerk, version 2.20. The organ of Krewerd is
available for Hauptwerk version 1 and 2.
The next table shows the memory requirements.

2nd:
A good internal or external sound card. A good choice also recomanded by Martin Dyde is the
M-Audio Audiophile 2496.
This card makes the MIDI connection from console to computer. You can also first try the built-in card of your computer.
3rd:
A keyboard electronic organ with MIDI output.
Also available are very beautiful consoles
for "beautiful" prices. Are you a "handyman" then you can use the hardware of e.g.
WIRA
to expand your obsolete console with MIDI output.
4th:
A very good way to listen to your favorite organ in Hauptwerk is by using headphones e.g. AKG or
Sennheiser. We prefer the use of a stereo-equipement connected to your computer. Do not listen to
Hauptwerk with a set of 10 GBP computer-speakers.!
